Combivent is a dual-action bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles to ease breathing. Typically, Combivent is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with ongoing bronchospasm. But, it can also be used to prevent wheezing and shortness of breath in patients needing a second bronchodilator, improving lung function.
